Makenzie Hale, Social Media Chairperson

Meet Makenzie Hale, the face behind GDYF's Instagram and social media guru for the Junior Board.

Makenzie Hale, our Social Media Chairperson, has a passion for the dairy industry which was inspired by her father whom she says still continues to encourage and inspire her today. This Oconee County rising junior enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with her show heifers. She began showing six years ago and has not stopped since. Even though she loves showing her dairy heifers, she says her favorite activity sponsored by the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation is the Southeast Dairy Youth Retreat which is held each year in a southeastern state. According to Makenzie, the retreat is an incredible experience and opportunity to make friends to last a lifetime. During the next year as a GDYF junior board member, Makenzie hopes to get to know even more of the dairy youth in Georgia than she has already had the pleasure of meeting. She also hopes to expand her leadership capabilities.
