Upcoming 2025 Golf Tournament - 2024 Photos

The 2025 GDYF Golf Tournament will be held at Hard Labor Creek in Social Circle, GA on Friday, March 28, 2025. The golf tournament raises funds to support the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation's mission of providing broad-based financial support to Georgia dairy youth in 4-H, FFA and collegiate dairy activities. It is held in honor of dairyman and registered Holstein breeder, Mr. Bud Wiley.

The tournament is played in a four person Lauderdale Scramble format. People often enter in teams of friends, organizations or companies, as well as singles. 18 holes of golf, a golf cart and lunch is included in the entry fee of $100/person or $400/team. Ice cream from Mountain Fresh Creamery is served to teams as they finish their rounds.

We welcome donations to support the fundraiser. You may donate in levels such as a tee and green sponsor at $500, a general event sponsor at $200, and a hole sponsor at $100. Donation results may range from logo displayed at hole to including an entire team plus logo recognition and more.

Activities supported through donations include judging, dairy quiz bowl, the Southeast Dairy Youth Retreat, Dairy Challenge, local dairy heifer shows and workshops, FFA SAE's, and more. We want our students and teams to use their highest potential to succeed at their chosen event at the local, state and national levels. A specific example is that GDYF helps the Georgia state winning dairy judging team make the trip to Nationals at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, WI every year.
